My approach
I offer short and longer term work, both from a relational perspective.

1. Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT), which is a treatment course of 16 sessions to help identify anxiety and depression, which may be caused by relational difficulties. We would look at experiences that may have happened in your past, which could continue to affect the way you feel and behave in relationships today.

2. Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, where the primary focus is to identify and understand emotional and behavioural patterns that are troublesome. The length of the therapy is discussed together as we proceed.

My qualifications and experience

I am a kite-marked DIT clinician registered with The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC). I am also a professional member of The Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC), and UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), and therefore adhere to their code of ethics and working practice.

My philosophy

I aim to facilitate a judgement free and safe environment for us to think and work collaboratively to address the underlying emotional difficulties that can repeat and play out in daily life.
